Partner Recognition 2026

On May 14, 2026, LESSB board members hosted an event at Lakeridge Methodist Church to recognize the twenty-nine valued donors who have assisted us in our mission to support Adult Protective Services and its clients this year.

Both LESSB board members and Adult Protective Services team members attended the event where individualized “Certificates of Appreciation” were presented to these special donors who have provided good, services and funds for the vulnerable clients of APS.

Honored were the following non-profit organizations: Community Foundation of West Texas, Lakeridge Methodist Women, Lubbock Meals on Wheels, Lubbock’s Organization of Retirement Care Homes and Assisted Living (LORCH), Slaton Area Endowment, Texas Nurses Association (District 18), and The CH Foundation

LESSB also honored the following for-profit organizations: Ace Hardware, Atmos Energy, Betenbough Homes, H.E.B., Home Instead Senior Care, United Supermarkets, and six individual Walmart stores (Marsha Sharp, Levelland, S. University, S. Quaker, S. Loop 289, and W. Loop 289).

Finally, LESSB joined APS in honoring individuals and companies who have been important in working with APS caseworkers to provide direct services to APS clients. These honorees included: Frank Rodriguez (Bug Masters), Mike Gonzales (Area Wide Medical), Sally Coates (Senior House Calls), Kristen Wilson (Home Instead Senior Care), Angie Skinner (High Plains Home Care), Zeke Rios (home repair/update), Beverly Rush (Covenant Hospital), Sergeant Joseph Rosendo (Lubbock Police Department), and Kevin Ibarra (Denver City Police Department).

Thanks to each of these honorees and many others who make it possible for APS and LESSB to provide the services for APS clients.
